Rowan is a happy girl, which enjoys to create, invent and fix stuff. her colorful nature is contagious. Welcome to her world!

Rowan was born in the year 2007.  Since she was one year old she started to show interest in the arts, science, math, music and engineering.  At age two Rowan was already reading to us, skipping the Mom reading to daughter time.   At 3 she started loving math equations.  At 4 she asked her daddy if there is a number below zero, so daddy decided it was time  for algebraic equations.  She also created a AM/FM radio fro a radio shack kit, we bought it for her, but while I was in the bathroom she opened the package and  read the instructions, I heard a voice and went down stairs, she said: "Mommy I made a RADIO!".  The radio was working, because she used our batteries.
Rowan loves music, it calms her, so we got piano lessons. She is purple belt in Karate,  a leader in the Girl Scouts of America, an honor roll student, also an artist.  Rowan also participated in Scientific Research at New York University since age 5, getting paid to help science understand her high functioning "Aspie" brain.   And some exciting news, one  of the  Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, Judge Sonia Sotomayor wrote to me!
See?  a very geeky girl, I will never have it any other way.  At age 3, we found out how twice exceptional this power girl was, being diagnosed with Asperger's her strength in academic awareness and being part of the Gifted Program community at school. 

We are all excited that she  is starting  on a new school, a new journey this year at PS 110,  Florence Nightingale.
